"I've Got A Rock & Roll Heart" was recorded by Eric Clapton for his 1983 album, Money and Cigarettes. Released as a single on 29 January 1983, it reached #18 on the U.S. Top 40 Singles Charts. The song was written by Troy Seals, Eddie Setser and Steve Diamond. In 2010, T-xxx used the song in a U.S. television commercial featuring Eric Clapton for the limited edition Fender xxx 3G Smartphone. The commercial first started appearing on 20 January. Eric is also featured in print ads for the smartphone.
