For twenty years, Sue Foley has been proving that, despite the stereotypes, Canadian women can play the blues as well as anybody. She has released nine albums as a leader, and established herself as one of the most important singer, songwriter, and guitarist in the blues field. Peter Karp has shifted careers several times over his life, but for the last six years, he's been garnering raves as a singer/songwriter with blues and folk roots. A couple years or so ago, Foley and Karp began a correspondence which turned into songwriting inspiration, as they eventually developed a song cycle charting the ups and downs and dual perspectives on a single relationship between a man and a woman.
