CAROL CHASE - Blue Highway (2004)

Carol.....a member of the Lynyrd Skynyrd Band, will be on tour again when the band goes out in 2008. This Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group continues the southern rock legacy and the Honkettes (which Carol is one of) will be there on stage, singing back-up vocals. It's been a long road from the western plains of the North Dakota, where she was born and raised, to the bright lights of the many stages around the world that she's performed on. In the late 90's, while she and a co-writer were song-writing in Nashville, she got a call from her friend Rickey Medlocke, who informed her that he was back in Lynyrd Skynyrd and that there was an opening for a back-up singer. Two days later she arrived in Ft. Meyers, Fl. to audition for the band (consisting of Gary, Johnny, Rickey, Leon, Hughie, Billy, Owen, and Dale) and was hired to start touring the next week, as they traveled to Europe. She's has been with the band ever since, touring and recording 5 cd's with them. Then in 2004 she recorded her own CD entitled 'Blue Highway'.
