Hayseed Dixie return from their hiatus with their 8th studio album, "Killer Grass". The album is packaged as a combined CD and DVD set. The CD contains 7 original songs and 6 Rockgrass re-interpretations of previously known works (by everyone from Mozart to Queen to The Prodigy), all of which focus on themes of killing and death hence the title, Killer Grass. "There's still plenty of drinking, cheating and hell in there too, as them 4 elements all go together like stink on poop," remarks front-maniac Barley Scotch. Killer Grass is either their absolute greatest musical achievement or absolute worst offence yet, depending on your personal perspective, but it is absolutely nothing in between.
