Delaney Bramlett (1939– 2008) was an American singer, songwriter, musician, and producer. Delaney Bramlett's musical history spans three decades making it difficult to pinpoint in such a short space his contributions to the world of music. Known as a great songwriter, singer and musician, he has also been a mentor to some of the very best: Eric Clapton, George Harrison, J.J. Cale and Bobby Whitlock to name just a few.
A tremendous collection of self-penned and co-written songs (plus Sam Cooke's "Change Gonna Come") that make a worthy album to mark the end of a life spent making truely great music. Delaney goes back close to the roots for his interpretaion of the blues, with the distinctive gospel ingredient that helped make his sound so special. HERE
