"xxxx xxxx xxxxxxxx" welcomes the discovery and the re-discovery of the legend, his music, and his artistry. With a distinguished music career that spans more than five decades, XXXX XXXXXXXX has returned to his longtime label home Capitol Records recording 10 new tracks for "xxxx xxxx xxxxxxxx". It’s a cover album, with him making several artist’s songs his own, such as Green Day, Foo Fighters, U2, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Velvet Underground, the Replacements, and more. It is a country album by definition, but in a way very few artists can, with this album he penetrates genre barriers and has made, IMO, the best country-related album since Johnny Cash’s American IV.
